In our most recent project, we executed a controlled demolition, carefully removing the rear section of the existing home and roof. This allowed for the extension of the structure into the backyard. We proceeded with excavation for the new foundation, followed by the pouring of new footings. Additionally, we constructed a foundation block wall, applied waterproofing and weeping tile for drainage and completed the framing of the new addition.

The renovation project was undertaken in Burlington, Ontario, following water damage to the clients’ main floor caused by compromised shingles. ACO Contracting executed the demolition and removal of the affected materials, followed by the installation of new insulation and a vapor barrier on the exterior walls. Subsequently, our team installed new electrical wiring to accommodate pot lights in the living room and dining room. We then proceeded with the installation of drywall, applying mud and tape, and sanding to achieve a Level 4 finish. The project concluded with painting the ceilings, walls, and trim, as well as the installation of hardwood flooring, trim around the windows, doors and baseboards.
